On successful completion of the programme you will have acquired not only the specialist knowledge, which is necessary for advising national and multinational corporations engaged in transnational commerce, but also the panoply of transferable skills and competences which are necessary for lawyers aiming for an international clientele.

Programme Overview

The programme is unique in offering a combined perspective of traditional aspects of the private law governing transnational commerce -including private international law, international corporate law, and intellectual property rights law- and cutting-edge aspects of the European integration, corporate governance and responsibility, and international corporate crime, thus resulting in an innovative and well-rounded curriculum.   

 

Programme Structure

The programme is to be completed in twelve months, starting in October or January, and comprises of a dissertation, two research methods modules and the following taught modules:

International Corporate Law

International Corporate Crime

Intellectual Property Rights Law

Principles of European Law

Private International Law (European Commercial)
